Bio of Linda Hays

People often want to know about who the person is behind the webpage.
Of course, sometimes people get a little wordy with their bio, and that can
be annoying. That is why I'm going to try to make this short and sweet.
(sort of like me)  Ok, so on with the bio.

I was born in New York in the mid 50's. My dad was in the Army, so we moved around a lot. I left New York at
a very young age, so, no, I'm not a New Yorker.

I have one brother who is 7 years older then I am.

We lived in France for a few years. I attended "nursery school" there
and according to my Mom, learned the French quite well, but  unfortunately I've forgotten all I knew.

In the early 60's we moved to Salinas, California, where I went to Freemont
Elementary School from Kindergarten through 2nd grade. We then moved to
El Paso, Texas for about 10 months where I attended 3rd grade. From there we
moved back to California, and lived in Fort Ord, California until my father retired
in the late 60's. We moved to Applegate, California and I attended High School in
Colfax.

I graduated from High School in 1972, which is also when I got married for the first
time. My husband and I lived in Willits, California until our divorce 5 years later. I was too young, he was too old. We had 2 great sons, Tim and Dan.

I moved back to Sacramento, attended Sacramento City College, met a man there
who I married. I had 2 more sons, Ben and Joe. That marriage ended 15 years later, because of abuse.

Ben, Joe and I moved out on our own. I work for the Sacramento Unified School District
with the Head Start Program.

A couple of months ago my parents gave me a wonderful gift of my own home. Its
a  Modular Home which I am very proud of. Ben, Joe and I live there with our cats
Muffin and Shadow and a bunny we call Hunny Bunny, because he's so sweet. That bring us up to the present.

If you want to know more details, feel free to ask. I'm an honest and open person. I'm also patient, gentle, kind and sometimes I let my heart rule when it should be my brain taking over. I am who I am, and don't wish to change for anyone.
